Man Scorpion Gone

We did it. After some low pressure haggling, we got a decent price for our truck and left with a brand new Jeep Patriot Limited. I had said that there would be no reason to get rid of the truck prior to its complete failure. I had every intention to run it into the ground. The thing is, we need a place for the baby to sit when we go places and theres no reason for us to own two cars in this city.

Waisting Away Again

We had dinner with a large group of Jaimes coworkers at Margaritaville. For those of you who havent been, Margaritaville is a Jimmy Buffet world themed restaurant with slightly over priced, but tasty, food. Its really loud there. The sound system is playing loud music with a track list thats about 64% Buffet. There are people on stilts walking around in funny outfits and making balloon animals, hats, swords and anything pirate/Caribbean. The servers are wearing loud Hawaiian shirts. Its an overload of the senses and honestly, Im surprised that no ones had a seizure from being there.

Hes a Thief

Its a strange thing to me, taking something thats not yours. Its one thing to be given something you dont deserve, but to steel something, I just dont get it. I had the day off, slept in, took a shower, leashed the dogs up and headed out for our walk. Well guess what, my fucking bike was stolen off the porch.

Bruce

Its my step dads b day today. Hopefully he got the card Jaime sent out. Interestingly enough, my mother made no mention of it when she called me on Sunday. This could be a sign of improvement.

I Still Believe that I Cannot Be Saved

The Idols did some Andrew Lloyd Webber songs this week. (Yes, I know I said I was done with it but Jaime watches it and its on so I hear it so shut up.) Cristy got kicked off last week so we dont have to hear her ruin any more songs. Theres still Carly Smithson and Syesha though. This theme seemed to fit Syesha better then previous themes did and as far as Im concerned she can stay another week. Smithson however needs to go home. Im done done done with her. It wouldnt surprise me if they send old stop and start Brook White. At least she kept her mouth shut while the judges were talking this week.

Like a Moth to a Flame

I forgot my new monitor. Im buying one of those fancy LCD displays from Zac and was going to get it when we were in town for the 420 party. But I left it there. Sure we have a monitor and it works just fine but its frickin huge and it would be nice to have more desk space. Not to mention the new monitor has a bigger screen and better picture. Also were getting a great deal on it.

420 Party

We went down to Tucson for the big 420 party. Teresa and Zac had a friends and family style party with fast grilled food and a marriage proposal. Mia hit the nail on the head, the best part was Zac on bended knee, and still taller then his fiancée. While our dogs were absent from the festivities, there was plenty of dog to provide the days remaining entertainment. On top of all this we got to formally meet our Bizzaro world counterparts, Mia and Danny. Their Dan didnt come so it wasnt a complete encounter but fun none the less. For his birthday, we gave Dan our old crock pot and a Dog Food Dip starter kit. We didnt have any broke down old appliances for Teresa though. Sorry.
