"How can you whip cream without whips?"

Whew, just got it in on time. Todays post is about Tim Burton and his new Chocolate movie. Mr. Burton has made many movies like Edward Scissor Hands, Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas that are wonderful and lots of fun. What he needs to quit doing is remaking classics. His strength is in his ability to create a beautiful, enchanting and disturbing world that is unlike anything anyone has ever seen before. Now this Charlie movie wasnt bad. But... It didnt bring anything exciting or amazing to the story. I think Johnny Depp is taking more of a beating for his preformance than is deserved. OK. Now for the bottom line. As far as movies go, I had fun. In the smaller world of Tim Burton movies, it left something to be desired and I cant wait for Corpse Bride to come out.

You Bite Through The Big Wall, The Big Wall Bites Back

Fat Man & Little BoyIts been 2 weeks since Ive had a cigarette now. Ive managed to only gain 2 pounds in that time. I am however about 20-30 pounds heavier than I would like to be. With this in mind Ive decided to join the Slim Fast Nation. Upon first glance it looks like a gimmick but once you look closer the program is right up my ally. You get to eat one big meal and then you supplement your day with their shakes and snacks. If you dont want to buy their stuff then you can also eat fruits and veggies. Their website has lots of ways for you to organize your weight loss (or maintenance) program. They plan out daily menus for you based on your height, weight, age and desired weight loss rate. The meals have all the ingredients and cooking instructions right below them so you can decide if you want that or not. And if you dont then you just swap it out for another similar type meal. In the end, this plan should work for me because I love having everything all planed out and set a certain way. Right now I know what Im going to be eating for each meal and snack for the next 4 days.

The cookout was a big success. We ate lots of good food and watched baby Raene (sorry if I spelled it wrong but you brought that on yourselves) play with ice cubes. The dogs got to chase a frisbee around even though they were tied to a tree. Last but not least, The Jew met my neighbor.

With the exception of the ugly kid, everyone showed up without having to be called. Next time Ill probably just send a car for him. 3 months notice with constant reminding which included a reminder 2 days prior to the event doesnt seem to be enough for him to remember.
