On this day, 6 years and 4 months ago, I first registered the domain, 64tacos.com. Since then, the site has gone through many changes. It started off simple, with a fan base of about 8-10 people, and now Im certain, at least that many, perhaps a couple more, check it on a weekly basis.

I just recently remembered that I still have all the Taco Trio "adventures" flash movies on the site. They arent linked to from anywhere. You have to guess where they are. And if you find their main page youll also find links to other things that you probably forgot about.

Since its creation, on April 17th, 2003, 64stores has sold 13 items, only 8 of which I purchased myself. The most popular of which is the Angry Neil Value T Shirt. For a limited time there is now available a 64tacos 6 year 4 month anniversary logo.

Mom Day

Its my step dads b day today. Hopefully he got the card Jaime sent out. Interestingly enough, my mother made no mention of it when she called me on Sunday. This could be a sign of improvement.

420 Party

We went down to Tucson for the big 420 party. Teresa and Zac had a friends and family style party with fast grilled food and a marriage proposal. Mia hit the nail on the head, the best part was Zac on bended knee, and still taller then his fiancée. While our dogs were absent from the festivities, there was plenty of dog to provide the days remaining entertainment. On top of all this we got to formally meet our Bizzaro world counterparts, Mia and Danny. Their Dan didnt come so it wasnt a complete encounter but fun none the less. For his birthday, we gave Dan our old crock pot and a Dog Food Dip starter kit. We didnt have any broke down old appliances for Teresa though. Sorry.

Happy Halloween

Yesterday was candy day. We took the light bulb out of our porch light and watched Arrested Development all night. I dont feel guilty about this. Back when we lived in a house and it wasnt 90 degrees out on Halloween, we gave out candy. Its just hard to get into it here.

• 12 years, 6 months and 2 days since I first stepped foot in The Basement

Happy Birthday America

We just got back from the fire works. The temperature just dropped below 100 for the evening and were getting ready for bed.

3 hours ago: We were sitting on the couch in the comfort of our AC, watching some Friends DVDs. We had talked about going to see the fireworks earlier but it was still about 108 degrees out as the sun was setting. We werent very excited about going down town and fighting with the 1.5 million other people that live in this city for a parking spot only to have to sit in pools of our own sweat. Finally, Jaime said LETS GO! And I said OK!

A couple miles south of our appartment is a small mountian preserve that has trails you can hike. We decided that wed check that out. If we could make it to the top wed be able to see everything. So we filled up our water bottles, put on our hiking boots and went out. After about  half an hour of hiking we started getting to the steeper stuff. We turned around to see how far we had come and below us was all of north and west Phoenix. Then we noticed that we could see fireworks in 3 different places. We decided to get a little bit higher and sat down and watched the show. Over the next hour we were able to see 5 different fireworks shows. It was amazing. All around us there were bright flashes of red, white and blue. You could only faintly hear the explosions but the sight of it was magical.

Id like to wish my second favorite person in the whole world, my little sister, a very happy birthday. We didnt get along very well as kids but have gotten to be good friends in our adult years. Thank goodness my parents desided not to send her back 6 months after they adopted her.
