Mid Life Crisis
Today Jaime and I went to the mall. It’s my birthday so I decided to treat myself. First we went to Hot Topic and picked up a shiny shirt. You know the kind you'd see on a Backstreet Boy. After that it was Pearl Vision. It’s time to lose these glasses and give contacts a chance. Next it's off to Wilson’s Leather. As long as I've gotten rid of my glasses and picked up a fancy shirt I might as well get some leather pants right? Perhaps the best purchase was the leather mini skirt I got for Jaime.

First Date
I just got home from what I’m going to call my first date with Jaime DeBruin. I picked her up from her parent’s house and we went over to my place to watch Scarface with the intent of counting how many times the word "fuck" is said. Someone told me that Blink 182 is named that because fuck is said 182 times in Scarface. Dan was home and sitting in the middle of the couch and was too dense to realize that he should move so I could sit next to the pretty girl I just brought home. Oh well. So with Dan and I on the couch and Jaime on the chair we count. I think we counted 174 fucks.
After the movie was done Jaime and I went up to Denny's for a quick bite. It’s about 10:30 at this time and she has a midnight curfew. As we talk I realize something. This girl is much more than just a pretty face. She’s amazing. Everything about her is interesting. I hope she knows were on a date.
Well shit, its 11:50 and I have to bring her home. On the way I miss her street and wind up in a cul-de-sac. As I drive past her street I realize that I missed it and say "that was your street wasn’t it?" She says (as I’m about to turn around in the undeveloped, dark cul-de-sac) "I thought you had ulterior motives." Well I didn't but as I look over at her she’s smiling at me in a way that tells me I should. I stop the car right there, lean over and get stopped by the seatbelt. Mother fucker. Jaime laughs and leans in to me and gets stopped by her seatbelt. My foot’s on the break. IDIOT. I put the parking break on and we try again. To this day I don’t think I’ve been a part of a more passionate kiss than the first kiss I shared with Jaimelyn DeBruin. It was incredible.
I’m pretty sure she knew we were on a date.

The Girl I Love Shes Got Long Black Wavy Hair
Today at work I meet the most beautiful girl I have ever met in my life. She was in the office and Jason was interviewing her. Normaly I dont like chics with short hair but her face is breath taking. Not to mention, shes got an amazing body.
I saw her come in the restaurant and ask for Jason. Naturally I had to see what was going on so I went into the office to 'ask Jason a question'. He knew why I was there. Our visitor however was clueless. She just finished high-school and was looking for her first job in the real world. Not even 18 yet. Still, so beautiful. Jason had me 'look over her application' and asked if I had any questions for her. I did, but nothing that would be appropriate for a future coworker to ask. Theyll have to wait until we are current coworkers. Dont want to scare her away.
Her name is Jaimelyn. Another Jaime. This will be interesting.

Stumpapalooza
It looks like the week of non stop band practice and exam neglect piad off. Our first show went pretty good. It was in the backyard of my parrents house on the deck. We had the backyard full of people. Id say there were 75-100 in all. Red Headed Step Child opened for us and they were awsome. We played Around the Bend (John Allen), My Name is Jonas, Exsistance, Yesterday and How it Should Be. People seemed to be having a lot of fun. When I fucked the lyrics of Yesterday up they all started singing along. It was really cool. After she show people were welcome to stick around and go swimming and hottubbing. Only a couple people stayed. One happened to be Betsy Curran.

She's Electric
I picked up the new Oasis album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? today. I got it because of the song Wonder Wall but as I listen to it every song is good. They're better than good; this is one of the best albums I've ever listened to. It's like the Beatles came out with a new album or something.

The Beauty of Grey
On the way back from Christmas in Chicago I asked if I could drive. I had just gotten my learners permit and could use some time on the highway. Reluctantly my dad said yes and just outside of Gary we stopped at a gas station, everyone peed and I took over the driving. About 20 minutes in it started snowing. It must have been snowing this side of the lake for a little while because very quickly we found ourselves slowed by traffic and slush. I stayed in the fast lane because I wanted to get home but my parents started freaking out. "YOU'RE GOING TO FAST, SLOW DOWN, YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING, PULL OVER." It would have been one thing if they had simply given me some advice. Unfortunately they were yelling and screaming as if I was going to kill everyone in the car and everyone in a 2 mile radius of the car. Defeated, I pull the car off the highway at the next exit.
Safely in the parking lot of a McDonalds my dad and I get out. I open the sliding door to let my mom out so she can return to the front seat. As she’s opening her door I put on my black trench coat and grab my backpack. "Where do you think you're going" asks my dad. "Don’t worry about me, I'll get a ride," I reply. "Get in the fucking car." "No." Then I turned to Jenna and asked her if she wanted to go with me. I could see in her eyes that she did but she was still unsure what to do. I held out my hand for her to take if she wanted to come. She took it and my mom yelled, "you 2 aren’t going anywhere now get in the car so we can go!" I pulled out my 9mm and shot out the front and rear passenger side tires. Next I put the gun in my mom’s cheek and said, "SHUT UP! You're not going anywhere. If Jen wants to come with me then she’s coming with me." Jenna got out of the van with her coat and bag and we walked across the street to the truck stop. There we found a TIP trucker who was going to Battle Creek and would give us a lift.
